§ 19 Begriffsbestimmung
(1) Ehrenamtliche Betreuer sind natürliche Personen, die außerhalb einer beruflichen Tätigkeit rechtliche Betreuungen führen. Ehrenamtliche Betreuer können sowohl Personen, die familiäre Beziehungen oder persönliche Bindungen zum Betroffenen haben, als auch andere Personen sein. (2) Berufliche Betreuer sind natürliche Personen, die selbständig oder als Mitarbeiter eines anerkannten Betreuungsvereins rechtliche Betreuungen führen und nach § 24 registriert sind oder nach § 32 Absatz 1 Satz 6 als vorläufig registriert gelten.
