Title 20 Domestic Relations

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

20-4-153. Application of law of this state.

(a) Except as otherwise provided in this act, a responding tribunal of this state shall: (i) Apply the procedural and substantive law generally applicable to similar proceedings originating in this state and may exercise all powers and provide all remedies available in those proceedings; and (ii) Determine the duty of support and the amount payable in accordance with the presumptive child support established under W.S. 20-2-304.

Your change, as a redline

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
