Title 20 Domestic Relations

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

20-4-211. Modification of a convention child support order.

(a) A tribunal of this state may not modify a convention child support order if the obligee remains a resident of the foreign country where the support order was issued unless: (i) The obligee submits to the jurisdiction of a tribunal of this state, either expressly or by defending on the merits of the case without objecting to the jurisdiction at the first available opportunity; or (ii) The foreign tribunal lacks or refuses to exercise jurisdiction to modify its support order or issue a new support order. (b) If a tribunal of this state does not modify a convention child support order because the order is not recognized in this state, W.S. 20-4-208(c) applies.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
