Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Act 2025
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

2 Terms and conditions of designation etc
(1) The Commander is to hold and vacate office in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Commander’s designation, subject to subsections (3) to (5). (2) The terms and conditions of a designation as Commander are to be determined by the Secretary of State. (3) In addition to any terms and conditions about termination determined under subsection (2), the Secretary of State may terminate a person’s designation as the Commander— (a) in the interests of efficiency or effectiveness, (b) because of misconduct by the Commander, or (c) because of failure by the Commander to comply with the terms and conditions of the designation. (4) Before terminating a person’s designation as the Commander, the Secretary of State must— (a) give the Commander a written explanation of the reasons why the Secretary of State is proposing to do so, (b) give the Commander the opportunity to make written representations about the proposal to do so, and (c) consider any written representations made by the Commander. (5) If, having complied with subsection (4), the Secretary of State determines that a person’s designation as Commander should be terminated, the Secretary of State may terminate that designation— (a) with immediate effect, or (b) on such date or at the end of such period as the Secretary of State may determine.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
