Title 40 Trade and Commerce

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

40-9-101. Standard natural gas defined.

(a) For the purpose of this chapter standard natural gas shall be considered to have an average standard of heating units of not less than one thousand (1,000) British thermal units per cubic foot of gas, ascertained and determined by the state chemist in accordance with standard conditions, to wit: (i) At a temperature of sixty degrees Fahrenheit (60A F); (ii) Under pressure of thirty (30) inches of mercury.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
