Diese Verordnung dient der Umsetzung der Richtlinie 2014/112/EU des Rates vom 19. Dezember 2014 zur Durchführung der von der Europäischen Binnenschifffahrts Union (EBU), der Europäischen Schifferorganisation (ESO) und der Europäischen Transportarbeiter-Föderation (ETF) geschlossenen Europäischen Vereinbarung über die Regelung bestimmter Aspekte der Arbeitszeitgestaltung in der Binnenschifffahrt (ABl. L 367 vom 23.12.2014, S. 86).
