Die Wiederbesetzung erledigter Sitze findet unter Vorbehalt folgender Bestimmung nach dem für die erste Wahl befolgten Verfahren statt: Im Laufe des auf die Erledigung folgenden Monats hat der Generalsekretär die im Artikel 5 vorgeschriebene Einladung zu erlassen, und der Zeitpunkt der Wahl wird vom Sicherheitsrat festgesetzt.
