1. Das Europäische System zur Beobachtung der Festen Erde (European Plate Observing System, EPOS) wird als Konsortium für eine europäische Forschungsinfrastruktur (ERIC) gemäss der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 723/2009 des Rates gegründet und nachstehend als «ERIC EPOS» bezeichnet. 2. Das EPOS ist eine verteilte Forschungsinfrastruktur mit Standorten in Mitgliedsländern des ERIC EPOS und in anderen Ländern, mit denen das ERIC EPOS Vereinbarungen geschlossen hat. 3.
