1 Die Mindestdauer der Freiheitsstrafe beträgt drei Tage; vorbehalten bleibt eine kürzere Freiheitsstrafe anstelle einer nicht bezahlten Geldstrafe (Art. 30) oder Busse (Art. 60c). 2 Die Höchstdauer der Freiheitsstrafe beträgt 20 Jahre. Wo es das Gesetz ausdrücklich bestimmt, dauert die Freiheitsstrafe lebenslänglich. Fassung gemäss Ziff. I 2 des BG vom 19. Juni 2015 (Änderungen des Sanktionenrechts), in Kraft seit 1. Jan. 2018 (AS 2016 1249; BBl 2012 4721).
