Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
94 Recommendations to create parish councils
(1) This section applies where a community governance review is required to make any of the following recommendations— (a) recommendations under section 87(6) as to whether or not a new parish should have a parish council; (b) recommendations under section 88(4)(a) as to whether or not an existing parish should have a parish council. (2) If the parish has 1,000 or more local government electors, the review must recommend that the parish should have a council. (3) If the parish has 150 or fewer local government electors, the review must recommend that the parish should not have a council. (4) But subsection (3) does not apply if any part of the parish mentioned in subsection (1) is currently— (a) a parish which has a council, or (b) part of such a parish. (5) If neither subsection (2) nor (3) applies, it is for the principal council to decide whether or not the parish should have a council.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
