Title 34 Property, Conveyances and Security Transactions

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

34-13-124. Validity and effect of transfer.

(a) The validity of a transfer made in a manner prescribed in this act is not affected by: (i) Failure of the transferor to comply with W.S. 34-13-122(c) concerning possession and control; (ii) Designation of an ineligible custodian, except designation of the transferor in the case of property for which the transferor is ineligible to serve as custodian under W.S. 34-13-122(a); or (iii) Death or incapacity of the person nominated under W.S. 34-13-116 or designated under W.S. 34-13-122 as custodian or the disclaimer of the office by that person. (b) A transfer made pursuant to W.S. 34-13-122 is irrevocable, and the custodial property is indefeasibly vested in the minor, but the custodian has all the rights, powers, duties and authority provided in this act, and neither the minor nor the minor's legal representative has any right, power, duty or authority with respect to the custodial property except as provided in this act. (c) By making a transfer pursuant to this act, the transferor incorporates in the disposition all the provisions of this act and grants to the custodian, and to any third person dealing with a person designated as custodian, the respective powers, rights and immunities provided in this act.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
