1 Säuglingsanfangsnahrung ist ein Lebensmittel, das für gesunde Säuglinge (Kinder unter zwölf Monaten) während der ersten Lebensmonate bestimmt ist und bis zur Einführung einer angemessenen Beikost für sich allein die Ernährungsbedürfnisse dieser Säuglinge deckt. 2 Ein Erzeugnis, das für sich allein keine Säuglingsanfangsnahrung im Sinne von Absatz 1 ist, darf nicht als solche in Verkehr gebracht oder ausgegeben werden.
