Contingencies Fund Act 2021 2021 c. 9 An Act to make provision increasing the maximum capital of the Contingencies Fund for a temporary period. [15th March 2021] Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
Propose a changeSection 1(1) of the Contingencies Fund Act 1974 (which provides that the capital of the Contingencies Fund must not exceed 2 per cent of the authorised supply expenditure for the year ending on the previous 31 March) is to have effect in relation to times after 31 March 2021 but before 1 April 2022 as if the reference to 2 per cent were to 12 per cent.
